I think I'll go with 1963's The Haunting. Not set in stone, but it's on the likely side of choices.

Re: September 19th 2019
Plan on watching Dead Snow (2009), Stripped to Kill (1987), and My Bloody Valentine (1981) today. Should be a fun time, despite the fact I don't quite like Dead Snow as much as I used to.

Let me know what you think, but that one easily feels more like Unbreakable than horror so I’m glad I didn’t wait until October.Monster wrote:Brightburn will be mine.

I'm not saying it doesn't qualify or summat, just that's what I'd double bill it with, or even Split, than say fucking Super Freddy or some shit.Monster wrote:Damn, I thought it was supposed to be horror. I'd definitely say Brightburn is horror, Monster, so don't let the nay-sayers get to you.

I'll save it for October. If it feels like horror, I'll count it.

At minimum, it's horror inspired. I'd allow it. It's got enough stalk and kill going on to count for me.Monster wrote:Damn, I thought it was supposed to be horror. Yeah, underneath the aesthetic, it's basically a slasher movie.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:At minimum, it's horror inspired. I'd allow it.
