It's not about money. If you don't have a physical copy of something, you are at the mercy of the streaming site who can take it down whenever they please. Not to mention you will never be at the mercy of shitty internet or shitty streaming service that looks like you're watching through a greasy lens.Tiggnutz wrote:What about Tubi it's free

shudder isn't gonna take down it's own original content. and neither is netflix or amazon or anyone else. that only becomes an issue with content that is loaned from some other company.Jason wrote:It's not about money. Only two things I'm dying to have a blu-ray release: Creepshow mini-series, and The Babysitter from 2017.

Come on, admit it. It's better to have a physical copy with zero monthly payments than be at the mercy of streaming quality and internet service.

golden age as in 70s and 80s? i know that not all of those flicks have physical releases, even still. at least not domestically.Jason wrote:1) How?zombie wrote:Jason wrote:The wonderful thing is the golden era of movies all have physical releases. All the Superhero shows, Big Lame Theory, etc... Breaking Bad is done, Game of Thrones is done (never seen it). True Detective is still going but who knows what the fuck we're gonna get from that show...

Same, though don't remember my thoughts on 2. I don't think the first is that high of ranking for the Found Footage subgenre, but I remember thinking it's okay.Havok wrote:Part 2 was horrible and I'm saving part 3 for the challenge.Jigsaw wrote:Hell House LLC would definitely benefit from a physical release if it hasn't had one. Probably one of the few really solid found footage movies out there. Sequels weren't that great, though.

TV has been in its golden age for more than a decade. Still going strong.
Not removing until John Elway is fired.
Re: September 26th 2019
You might be able to get bootleg copies on ebay or something. It was that way with Cobra Kai. I know it's not ideal but it may be the only option aside from subscribing.Jason wrote:I will never see Creepshow.zombie wrote:i don't think that amazon has released any of their tv series' to physical media. they have done it with some of their movies though, like suspiria, so there may be hope.Jason wrote:Does anyone know if the new Creepshow series will have a blu ray release? err shudder. shudder, i don't think has released anything physically at all. (i watch shudder through amazon)

that's a handful of shows, of what is out there. it's like picking and choosing the worst of the 80s and saying it's a terrible decade for film.Jason wrote:The biggest chunk of them do, for sure.zombie wrote:golden age as in 70s and 80s? i know that not all of those flicks have physical releases, even still. at least not domestically.Jason wrote:1) How?zombie wrote:Jason wrote:The wonderful thing is the golden era of movies all have physical releases.
