I'm guessing this is a stoner movie.
That movie tries way too hard.
It seemed to be going for a Killer Klowns vibe and fell way short.

Lemme know if it's rad. I bought steelbook a couple months back and have been saving it for the challenge. :D
I really like it. Not one that I rewatch often, but I like it.
It was movie of the week on the old board. When I first saw it.

I did not make myself sufficiently clear when I made my post about the Langoliers. It has been at least 10 years, if not many more, since I have seen that movie. I liked it then, and I still like it.
I did not start watching it until noon ...then "life" happened, and I had to go do some things...that is the only reason it took me so long. This morning, I am back to new watches...Die Monster Die leads off the game
today.

Talk to you later!

I actually like The Langoliers also. Maybe it's nostalgic, but the mini-series follows the story pretty well, and while the CGI is certainly iffy, I think it has a lot of charm. Not one of King's best adaptations, but certainly not terrible. Beats the hell out of The Tommyknockers, anyway.

I will have to say that the main Horror of Spider Island was the last 15 minutes or so of this movie...I hope my next pick is better.

UPDATE: In the above, I meant when Bobby was drooling over all the women..lol..ok, now onto the next showing.

Girls with Balls

Netflix gem. Hillbilly slasher with French volleyball chicks. Much fun.

Updated my list. 2 Lava 2 Lantula! didn't nearly have the charm as the first one, but The Dead Pit was a very solid rewatch.

Best films spend everything on practical limb removal shots and nothing on fake dogs. Fact.

God bless the wardrobe department for this lead chick. I approve skimby undershirt and tiny white panties.

I didn't know The Dead Pit was a first-time viewing for you, but I hope you have a fun time with it. Like I said, I really enjoy it, and I think it has a lot going for it, so enjoy.

I basically cointossed between The Dead Pit and The Nest last night. Loser waits for the next day.

There's not much here...but Cheryl Lawson makes up for a lot, especially her night wardrobe :P

Dead Pit wasn't terrible. If it werent' for Cheryl's body and wardrobe, I would've given it a C. She gives it some good bumps.
