October Challenge Discussion Thread 2019
Re: October Challenge Discussion Thread 2019
I think I need switch to rewatches for a while. It's not fun when you get on a shitty new watch streak. Just can't do another one right now...

This. Could have sworn it was correct the other day, but constantly going in and editing via code's getting tougher.showa58taro wrote:Think it’s just a year error. 1988 per IMDb and was on Prime.

True, but odd error aside your list looks way more awesome than my simple take.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:This. I struggle even with the fun part. Even with the good cast, it's not enough to overcome its SyFy channel badness for me. Though I need to watch it with Covenent, to really decide which one I think is worseReign in Blood wrote:Maybe Resurrection should just be viewed as fun or summat, but I just remember thinking they jumped the shark and got too outlandish with the plot and shiz, Cloned in the future and becomes the queen crapping out a baby and all this.

I'll be having a late start today on movies. Gotta run some much needed errands. Don't want to, but I have to. *shrug*

Had to stop watching movies to grill some steaks and potatoes
Re: October Challenge Discussion Thread 2019
I did a Target run this morning. Just enough stuff to last until Monday. Anybody wants anything else in my house, they are shit out of luck.
Watching Return of the Living dead 3.
Poor store owner guy. If he just would have taken a loss over the Hostess cakes he would not have had his head emptied. Mmmhmm.

i thought it was pretty good. it's a slow ride though, so if you're not into that, maybe give it a pass.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Zombie, what was your verdict on Midsommer?

the print of long hair of death, that's available on amazon prime is near unwatchable. i guess i'll have to find another barbara steele flick to go with.

I'd like to think I'm known for being more open to slow burns than most otherszombie wrote:i thought it was pretty good. it's a slow ride though, so if you're not into that, maybe give it a pass.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Zombie, what was your verdict on Midsommer?

I can never decide if the homeless guy "Riverman" has a radio DJ voice, smoky bedroom voice or lives in an asylum voice.

mileage will vary by execution. again, i liked it. i'm curious to see the longer director's cut.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:I'd like to think I'm known for being more open to slow burns than most otherszombie wrote:i thought it was pretty good. it's a slow ride though, so if you're not into that, maybe give it a pass.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Zombie, what was your verdict on Midsommer?
on a side note, i'm debating whether or not to actually give rosemary's baby a watch.

Meat batteries.
Hehehe. That made me chuckle.
I think the spanish guy with his head on the tall spine has to be my fav undead in this flick.
