Dude, the fucking call on the field was "unnecessary roughness - horse collar tackle". You can't just make things up here, the referee literally said that.Jason wrote:No. Late hit. It was definitely a foul. I recall seeing the flag, seeing the replay and thinking it was a foul. Because it was. Without a doubt. Don’t blame the refs for that one.Jason wrote:No. Late hit. That's never getting called and Harris got away with two PIs that weren't called so who cares?Jason wrote:Also, explain the 40 yard push off no call on Harris.
Fans who always blame the refs are adorable.

Could have been called as either a "late hit" or "horse collar". Right call.showa58taro wrote:It was definitely a foul. I recall seeing the flag, seeing the replay and thinking it was a foul. Also refs didn’t make Flacco get sack fumbled to end the game.Headhunter wrote:Could have been called as either a "late hit" or "horse collar". Right call.showa58taro wrote:It was definitely a foul. Don't be under any of Jason's delusions. The Broncos are statistically unlucky to be 0-3 in these FG-margin games but it has nothing to do with referees. They haven't finished. Offense scored 13 for fuck's sakes, no teams deserves to win that game.showa58taro wrote:Also refs didn’t make Flacco get sack fumbled to end the game.Headhunter wrote:Could have been called as either a "late hit" or "horse collar". Besides you surely want to lose to cash in on good draft picks. You’re not playoff bound with that team are you.Headhunter wrote:Don't be under any of Jason's delusions. Guess I should be pleased Chubb gets credit for the yardage before the fumble to make him get done points.

Exactly. These are the best kinds of losses IMO. We already knew Flacco and the OL sucked, it doesn't really hurt the team that they continue to suck and lose the team a game. And close games gives you a better evaluation of your current players while having better opportunities to acquire future ones when you lose.showa58taro wrote:Besides you surely want to lose to cash in on good draft picks. Seems like it’s going to plan. evaluate and prepare for the draft. Although with Elway that might not help you that much.Headhunter wrote:Exactly. These are the best kinds of losses IMO. Well, that's the problem. In my mind, I can turn this into something in 2-3 years. With Elway, who the fuck knows. He could sell the picks for bottles of Scotch.

He actually is, and Elway will absolutely be in on him in the draft. It's sad how accurate this is.
