Someone come up with a title for all of us, I don't want the entire site traipsing around as Admins (scare off the 1 visitor we get). We'll be the real deal with all equal rights.

What do you guys think would be a kick ass blu ray to watch in the theater for surround sound? We're doing a thing for work, and the shortlist they gave me was Mad Max: Fury Road, Twister and Wall-E. I was gonna pick Twister (Pax, respect), but then they said we had to bring the blu-ray, in which I got Mad Max. BUT, if I got to bring the god damn thing, and it can be anything, I don't want to watch Fury Road (sorry D), I think I want Big Trouble in Little China, or summat. Thoughts?

What a strange selection for the shortlist.

Is there a max on runtime? Cause you could drop some LOTR.

It's for surround sound. Chick at work just worked the google, it came back with praise for those 3 for sound, which they each have shit going for them.

Keep it at 2 hours.

Message boards are going to Facebook and things like that. It sucks because there is a charm to message boards and a sense of community. The Cincinnati Bengals message board went down 3 years ago because Mike Brown said it cost too much, lol. But the fans took it over and now there are more members than ever. If ya ever want go to an NFL message board, it's the best. They actually allow opposing team fans to post. Pretty cool.

Wall-E for sound? Really?

I'd be tempted to throw down Jurassic Park.

But that groovy score for Big Trouble In Little China would be sweet too.

That's why we didn't do it. You open a china shop and Foo doesn't see the problem in inviting The Rock. We can't let him make calls like that.
Yeah, I remember Foo offered me the reigns awhile back, but I had to say no since I'm barely around these days.

Fun times watching frightening flicks, currently viewing Clinton Road (2019). Started terribly, then leveled off, then got bad again. Hoping the movie can break even for an average 7/10, but my hopes aren't high.

Twister would obviously be my pick of the lot for that movie surround sound thing. A quick look at my own blu ray collection and the standouts are Drive, John Wick and The Revenant. Anything Carpenter would sound beautiful in surround sound (The Thing, Christine, Escape From New York, The Fog etc...).

Right now it's better than The 27 Club and Investigation 13 were. Both of those got 4/10's.

Only movie I've seen during my mini-2019 marathon that's been any good was Recovery, and honestly, that was more for the drama aspects than the horror.

Can't say any of those mentioned sounded appealing anyway.
