The travel ban was a great move that bought the US 3-6 weeks. Then nothing was done to prepare in those 3-6 weeks thus making it pointless. That’s exactly the problem right there, many missteps across the board undermined your preparedness and hampered your ability to quarantine the virus and do contact tracing and preventative screening. Now it’s everywhere and you’re fighting a losing battle.

How is quarantine pointless? It's slowed the spread and the fact that the U.S. is openly sharing all data and testing more patients than any other country should be commendable. The U.S. has the closest numbers to match reality than any other country because of the relentlessness of finding and treating this disease, coupled with the fact that the U.S. is not a communist hell hole that lies to the world about the dangers of this disease, allowing it to rapidly spread across the world. We'd know more about this disease if other countries weren't suppressing data or pursued more test kits. As always, the U.S. is carrying the burden of the failures of other countries and having to save the world their damn selves. We're learning more about this disease through American medical professionals and infectious disease experts than any other country.

It didn’t slow the spread. Because you didn’t use the time you bought yourself wisely. It’s now spreading and overwhelming states and hospitals across the country. Also it isn’t that you’re sharing more data. It’s that you’re handling the infection worse and are middle of the pack for testing frequency and not good enough. Neither I should add is the UK where the social distancing and home quarantine is working better than the US but testing is worse and slower.

Wonderful data, that is not as up to date as the U.S.. Their data is still inferior in that the U.S. is still producing data and testing kits that far exceed any Asian country. Try again. The U.S. has far exceeded MILLIONS of testing results (not just testing supplies) that any country has supplied.

If you want absolute, genuine results for the kung flu... every country is looking at the U.S. right now. The U.S. is far ahead of literally every single country.

Some may show nearly no symptoms, while others are hospitalized, and the other data ignored. Seb says the science is not there when scientists flat out acknowledge It!
