My friend list his dad and said it was agonizing to see as nothing could be done. That story a thousand times a day. The only reason it’s going from 1-2 million deaths to 100-250k to now 60-80k is the extreme measures that have reduced transmission and limited the number of achey hospitalizations needed and helped buy time to buy PPE and ventilators.

The fucking gall of any fucking cunts pretending that 60,000 dead is anything short of a catastrophe AFTER you institute measures that are effectively disbanding society to save lives can fuck right off as far as I’m concerned.
