I’m trying to think back on past political discussions, I didn’t participate nearly as much as I have in the past 5-6 years or so. I can’t really remember many so I’d love for Reign to set me straight here. I do remember one from pretty far back where I defended illegal immigrants to Laz. I think this was back when the US added a bunch of fencing to the border under Bush. I’ve always been fine with illegal immigrants, have hired them for day labor and have always considered them an essential part of the economy. Never been a social conservative at all, it’s the fiscal conservatism that has been hacked at over time.

Sounds like you remember a few occasions where I was on the “right” side of the argument (which did happen) at a time where I wasn’t very active in this section. I would guess most of that was centered around economics, where Foo and I were in near lockstep for a while. But things like illegal immigration, climate change, social issues, there’s no way that would have been the case. I don’t remember really having it out with any of you, but then I also didn’t with the liberals. My level of activity was pretty low overall.

I also definitely didn’t disappear for a few years. I doubt I was ever totally gone for more than a few months at a time, usually when I was dealing with personal issues.
