Re: May 1st, 2020
Just finished an Australian slasher called Cut, from 2000. I saw this one before (possibly on Chiller, I'm not sure), but I don't remember it being this bad. I'll probably give it something like a 3.5/10 once I actually write the review.
And Torso's pretty solid.

Did I legitimately recommend Cut? I don't remember this, but I deeply apologize.zombie wrote:with molly ringwald? i think i watched that on your earlier recommendation. i agree with your more recent ranking.Jigsaw wrote:Just finished an Australian slasher called Cut, from 2000. My old IMDb rating on Cut was a 6/10, which is still a below average rating from me. I moved it down to a 3/10, and since the guy I do this pod-cast with is Australian, I'll probably insult his country tonight because of it.

I didn't know The Devil's Candy was Australian. I actually think I gave that one a really high rating, and in fact, pretty sure I'd nominate it as a top ten horror movie from the 2010's (not that I've ever made a list of those).zombie wrote:have you seen the devil's candy or rogue? give him another chance, as an aussie!
Rogue was okay. I'll be honest, though, and admit that I much preferred Lake Placid, which I find an incredibly fun movie (that cast is on point).

Saw the Loved One's once. According to my IMDb rating, I gave it an 8/10, so must have been pretty good. Can't say I clearly remember it, though, so must have been in October.zombie wrote:lake placid is such a different film from rogue though. but i agree, the cast was great. specifically oliver platt.Jigsaw wrote:I didn't know The Devil's Candy was Australian. Re: May 1st, 2020
That really shouldn't be hard to cobble together. I've not really seen that many horror films post-2009. And I think most of the ones I really liked would make many other lists. I'll have to do it sometime during or after tonight's show, but I can post it here once I'm finished. I'll even try to rank it.

I enjoy It Follows. Something about Insidious just didn't do it for me, though.
