My Black Christmas blu ray I ordered last month arrived finally. Last week, on my birthday, actually. Gonna rewatch the movie on wonderful HD blu ray.

I don't know if Shout Factory is just king at blu ray transfer or the technology is getting better, but this transfer is noticeably much better than my DVD copy, which is already good in itself. I'm only on the menu screen and you can spot little imperfections on the wooden banister of the staircase. This movie is almost 50 years old.

Impressive transfer. Pushing play now.

Honest question. When you see a video of someone leaving a hospital and everyone is cheering because the patient is okay to go home whether its covid-19 or something else how come they are strapped to a gurnee or in a wheelchair they never just walk out on their own? If you are healthy enough to leave shouldn't you be walking out. Just something I wonder about

Being discharged from ICU might just be to a less problematic ward maybe? I must admit I don’t see those videos often.

Healthy/lucid enough to just get in the car a lot of times. They should be treating you better for the cameras, really. But you're cattle, my mom has just been minutes off of major surgery, still doped up and they're pushing us out the door to get the next in line, she can't walk on her own in the slightest. And that was before this shitshow.

Their question about what Jason wears over his face in part II is already wrong. The burlap sack is Town that Dreaded Sundown, F13ptII is a pillow case.

Hospital policy, usually. I had a rather long argument with a nurse about it when I had my appendectomy and wanted to walk, but they wouldn't let me. My guess is it covers their ass in case something happens on your way out.
