Really wish I had a weed guy/gal. It'd be nice to come home and relax with some weed and music. If my state ever legalizes it (and I don't understand any arguments against freedom to smoke weed), it'll be good times.

Indiana has neither medical nor recreational. Most of our surrounding states have at least one of them, though. So hey, at least people around me can have a good time.

The singer of my band is a weed dealer. I never run out. We only have medical legalized. Our marijuana laws used to be the most lenient before states started legalizing it. Every show I play, people are on the patio smoking a bowl, joint, or vaping the shit. Even if there are officers near. I ain't that brave though lol.Jigsaw wrote:Really wish I had a weed guy/gal. Re: May 8th, 2020
For so many people, weed is so easy to get. Back in college, I didn't have much of a problem. But being a socially awkward guy who literally never goes out aside from work, it's horrible. I did buy twice from a co-worker, which was fine, but then the co-worker left (for unreleated reasons), and haven't had the luck since.Jmac Attack wrote:The singer of my band is a weed dealer. I can't promise when (and worth nothing that I almost never listen to albums straight through anymore), but I will certainly do that.zombie wrote:the woods, by sleater kinney, is really noisy and chaotic in a punky way. also getting a grace slick feel from corin tucker's vocals on the album. jig, you should give dig me out a listen, if nothing else. see what you think.

you can listen to two or three then, jumping back and forth between them? i get that. it gives a better appreciation for the group or artist i'm listening to, than just a single song here and there. unless i'm already really familiar with them.Jigsaw wrote:I can't promise when (and worth nothing that I almost never listen to albums straight through anymore), but I will certainly do that.zombie wrote:the woods, by sleater kinney, is really noisy and chaotic in a punky way. also getting a grace slick feel from corin tucker's vocals on the album. jig, you should give dig me out a listen, if nothing else. see what you think.

I think it's just because I'm so used to shuffling music that listening to a single artist for longer than twenty minutes feels odd. I can do it with some (Watsky and Bright Eyes, for instance), but I mostly just shuffle through my 25,000+ iTunes for my music fix.zombie wrote:you can listen to two or three then, jumping back and forth between them? i get that. it gives a better appreciation for the group or artist i'm listening to, than just a single song here and there. unless i'm already really familiar with them.Jigsaw wrote:I can't promise when (and worth nothing that I almost never listen to albums straight through anymore), but I will certainly do that.zombie wrote:the woods, by sleater kinney, is really noisy and chaotic in a punky way. also getting a grace slick feel from corin tucker's vocals on the album. jig, you should give dig me out a listen, if nothing else. see what you think.

They have to escort you out of the building because if you get out of ICU and fall down the hallway they could get sued. At least that's what they tell me when they wheel me out.Tiggnutz wrote:Honest question. When you see a video of someone leaving a hospital and everyone is cheering because the patient is okay to go home whether its covid-19 or something else how come they are strapped to a gurnee or in a wheelchair they never just walk out on their own? If you are healthy enough to leave shouldn't you be walking out. Just something I wonder about

It's just a place to hold my music. I rarely actually purchase anything from iTunes. I just collect my music there.zombie wrote:25,000 songs? is itunes a free service? i mostly use spotify for my music. i like the format a lot.Jigsaw wrote:

Tried Spotify once, but since I already use iTunes, it seems sort of pointless.
I realized that I thought I pointed out some Bright Eyes to you, but that might have been Dream. Apologies for confusing the two of you again.

Even now, I have a list of things I need to throw onto iTunes. I usually wait until I have about 50 or so, then to some YouTube to MP3 site I go.
