Yeah...I remember that being an attempt at being serious, but wasn't a big budget either (maybe for them, but it was still their by-the-shoestring budget).zombie wrote:so troma ( or lloyd kaufman) was the one that tried to go big budget and crashed.... explain yourself, joe bob!

I've always thought Troma movies sucked. Granted, I haven't seen them all, but the ones I've seen pretty much were nothing more than ass.

I can't say how many Troma movies I've seen, but I've enjoyed about 70% of what I've seen.
For my thoughts on the horror films I've seen, please look here: https://jigsawshorrorcorner.wordpress.com/

The only Troma movie I own is Mother's Day, and the remake was better. I owned Poultrygeist and it's one of the rare movies I hated so much that I traded it in at the Pawn Shop. :pzombie wrote:but you do own it?Jason wrote:Haven't seen that one, nope.zombie wrote:you've better just have missed the toxic avenger, with that attitude.Jason wrote:I've always thought Troma movies sucked. My lord.....Poultrygeist sucked so many buckets of dicks. I remember that I could only get through half of it. Such a cool name though.Jason wrote:The only Troma movie I own is Mother's Day, and the remake was better. Exactly. That is the sole reason I watched it. I was so excited and waited all day to see that piece of crap. House of the Dead. Holy God, it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I actually paid to see that shit in the theater.

It may well have been. I would absolutely try to intervene if anyone was tempted to give it a go. No one deserves that. No one.Jmac Attack wrote:I almost said it was you who told me not to watch it. It was during one of the challenges a few years ago. Making a good "bad" movie is an artform and underrated.Monster wrote:It may well have been. Re: May 15th 2020
Given how bad I heard House of the Dead was, I was surprised it wasn't as bad as expecting. Solid D- if only for nekkid Erica Durance.
