Getting off at noon tomorrow so that's cool
Re: May 21st 2020
William Lustig the founder of Blue Underground video was on an episode of Shock Waves I just listened to. He was a producer on Maniac. He said Dario Argento wanted to invest big money in Maniac. Dario wanted to produce it he already had Goblin lined up to do the soundtrack and everything. The reason he backed out was because his wife got hired on some Italian soap opera. Interesting stuff

Feels like it’s been along week. A very long week.
Re: May 21st 2020
i think joe bob briggs also mentioned something about that when he showed maniac. daria nicolodi was set to play caroline munro's part. he gave different reasons for her departure. but yeah.Tiggnutz wrote:William Lustig the founder of Blue Underground video was on an episode of Shock Waves I just listened to. William Lustig just sounded like a fucking awesome dude and really funny. He also said the song Maniac from Flashdance was inspired by the movie Maniac. Joe Spinell was friends with Spielberg and he was supposed to be in Jaws as one of the guys on the pier that gets pulled into the water.
Re: May 21st 2020
indeed. he sounds like a really fun guy. this is my first time listening to shock waves. cool stuff, so far. lucky mckee is the next episode in backwards order.
Re: May 21st 2020
Shock Waves is the best
Re: May 21st 2020
william lustig is all like "get off my lawn" about modern american horror. (although i can't disagree about the rabid remake, as the one he mentioned by name)
Re: May 21st 2020

Re: May 21st 2020
yeah, his love for the horror genre, on the whole, is so clear. that's admirable.Tiggnutz wrote:You can just hear his passion for horror movies. Re: May 21st 2020
apparently, there was a "captain canady" in the last jedi, as a reference to lucky mckee and may. pretty cool.

*been binging old school 90210*
I knew Larry Monoson (Teddy Bear from F13: Final Chapter) was in a couple episodes during season 4, but I swear I just saw Ted White in one of his episodes, in a non-speaking part as "Callaghan". However, Callaghan is not listed in the cast list on IMDB, nor is the role mentioned on Ted's IMDB page. But damn I'd swear it was him lol.
Judy Aronson is also on season 1 as one of the girls that steals Steve's car (I swear she didn't age at all).
