cue videos of police attacking peaceful protestors and even, sometimes, just random people or reporters that are not protestors at all.

It's too bad "Cop Saves Day" doesn't make the news. That's all you'd see every day on the news. Can't even imagine the criminal activity that would exist without law and order. National Guard needs to come in and KO all these fucking beta males.

Ok, but it has to be acknowledged. America is burning to the ground because of one incident involving a guy who happened to be black and died because of a health condition. In the rare instances of police brutality, more white men are killed than black men, despite black men committing more crime. Black officers have killed white men and WOMEN. And nobody bats an eye until it's the other way around. A black police officer was killed during these riots, too. Nobody cares. Auto Zone is still on fire and the rioters are too busy roasting marshmallows to notice.

but you're right, it does need to be acknowledged. there are good cops. and they provide cover, unknowingly or not, for bad murderer cops (cops. not black cops, not white cops. just cops)

We don't have footage of what happened when Floyd was arrested. Only after the cop had detained him. He was awake and kicking in the back of the cop car. The media never shows that footage. They acknowledge he is dead, and only show video of him laying on the ground as if that was the moment he died. Hooray for chaos!

I can't apologize for my empathy. I feel for both sides, even the officer involved. His life is over. He had a wife and children.

No matter what, we have conflicting autopsies. Which means one party is lying. If he indeed died of strangulation and asphyxiation, it would have had to have been on the ride to the police station, as he was seen kicking in the back of the cop car. They'd had to have strangled him on the way there or when they got there. Which doesn't make sense.

i've read and heard from multiple sources that the ambulance took his body away after coming onto the scene, and chauvin got off of his limp body. not that he was driven away under police custody. is that wrong?

The news articles I have went and completely edited away any evidence of the other autopsy they reported on. Trying to archive it to see if I can catch them before they changed it.

Because his sources have no credibility? I’m more curious about why he’s invented this video of the cops hauling a dead man into a cop car who then comes back to life. That’s not believable in any way whatsoever.

Police are an institution of power. Rioters are not. Need to stop conflating the two, “both sides”ing and obscuring the issue of fucked up policing in this country.

the difference between police and the rest of us is that police need direct oversight and regulation because of the basis of their jobs and the power afforded them in order to do their jobs. in very basic terms.

not that because there are assholes among the police that kill people unnecessarily and in heinous abuses of their power. there shouldn't be accountability when some of the rest of us kill people unnecessarily.
