Perfect weather here in central Ohio. Its 76 degrees with no clouds and no humidity. Firing up the charcoal now to grill burgers and hot dogs. MmmMMMM!

Now i'm looking at the Diezel VH2. Much more affordable, and the 2nd channel is apparently based on the coveted crispy high gain 3rd channel of the VH4. Of course like the Revv amp I've looked at, the VH2 is on backorder too. Ugh.

i thought it was a pretty good doc, all in all. i hope that mark patton actually got what he needed out of it, and wasn't just giving lip service to that effect.
i don't know if i buy the bit about final girls being effective because they get to take the phallic weapon and wield it to stop the monster, and that's why a final boy doesn't work. that's a little bit weird to me. but i guess that's art for you. it's all about what each viewer takes away from the film and it's meaning.
