Sad to say, Luna, I may not get to properly use the Teacher question you mentioned, or if I do it'll have to be a simple answer. I can't remember their names, and I thought they'd be in my yearbooks, but both my middle school and high school yearbooks seem to run short on their faculty, and couldn't find random pictures of them anywhere. Le sigh.

So, I'm thinking we are about to get a thunder boomer, so this might be a quick visit... I hear it will cool things off, though, so hell yeah! Bring it!
I am writing some jokes to Roast a friend later in the week. Other than that also chillin.

I am a Colorado girl so anything above 70 hurts but this satanic 110 heat index with 110 humidity is unbearable. I can't handle being outside. But due to health issues Colorado was no longer an option.Melz wrote:I hear that! We've been waiting on rain for quite awhile here, too. I cut grass today, but I suspect there will be no grass to cut, if we don't get rain very soon. (been hearing crucial sounding thunder since I've signed on here, but still no rain... }Lunachic wrote:Hey SeraMelz wrote:DAE!!! LUNA!!! Hey, guys!!

Was suppose to rain here for on and off 4 days. Got maybe 20 minutes total of rain. I detest Texas :x
I was in San Antonio for Gabby's AF boot camp graduation last September, so I hear you about detesting Texas! lol I mean, it was okay, but hot and dry as hell! Plus, the ground was scary--I saw deep looking cracks, that looked like they went feet down. Made me think of Drag Me To Hell...

As far as Disney World opening goes, Florida’s mantra seems to always be making everyone else suffer for the crazy and reckless decision making of its crazy people. That state is a madhouse with good beaches. If we can get Ava out of there, the exodus of HMFers from America’s penis will be complete.
Not removing until John Elway is fired.

Re: 7/28/20
Got my 4th agent rejection today. Seems like there was a big gap between 3 and 4, but pretty sure I'm getting into the time period that I can give up on expecting a response from the others. For many it's been over the 8 weeks they suggested. Guess it's up to Self-Publishing, but I'm not really surprised. Just dreading *everything* coming out of my pocket :/
Just got Vellum, a program specifically for formatting both print and ebooks, I can plug in the manuscripts as word documents and go from there. Scrivener was fine for the print-book formatting, but seemed clunky for ebook.

Quite enjoying being off work. Admittedly today I’m just bringing my work home. But still. Amusing.
