Hola, HMF'ers.

I just Googled Mexican Coke, Dae. Interesting. Didn't know that existed. :)

For some reason, this made me think of another interesting thing: anyone else ever heard of putting salty peanuts in RC Cola, or regular Coke? (I ask if you've heard of it because over the years I've notice this isn't a wide-spread thing. A few folks have looked at me like I've lost my mind..lol It might be a southern thing, but I'm not sure *shrugs*)

My Mom introduced me to RC and peanuts when I was growing up. VERY tasty! One of the finest sweet/salty treats ever--IMO, of course. I don't even know if RC is still being manufactured. Coke works fine in its place, though. In case you are reading this with a look of wtf on your face, you pour salty peanuts in a cold bottle of cola--RC is THE best, Coke is a close second, and that is it---sucks with any other soda. Also, if you can find glass bottles, that is THE best but plastic will do. Forget doing it in a can. So, you drink around the peanuts, then eat a few with a sip when you want. (I first wrote, "You drink around the nuts, the let a few fall in your mouth when you want some", then thought better of it... )

*Mel gets off the path of nostalgia and wanders off for a bit* :P

My test today turned out positive. Everything seemed to be working fine and nothing in the way of causing a blockage. Mentioned that I might have to get an ultrasound, but all was good that he witnessed. Was kind of cool watching the x-ray machine as you drink and see how it goes down. It's a shame I didn't know that field existed back in College. I think I would've enjoyed that.

Damn, girl. I am soooo sorry about the not being about to drink caffeine. I don't do much of it, but I really enjoy my DDP, tea, and coffee here and there--all sweetened with Splenda, of course.. lol Couldn't imagine not being able to partake of caffeine.

HA! I thought it was a southern thing. lol I'm not a big fan of rootbeer. For me, the first swig is tasty, then after that I don't like it so much. I think it's too sweet or something. *shrugs*
