Haven't been much in a movie-watching mood recently. Going to have to change that up quickly, as I certainly have no intention on missing out on this year's challenge.

Hope you are all doing as well as could be expected given the situations you all may find yourselves enveloped in.

I have what the kids might call a DVR (which might be out of fashion nowadays given the prominence of Roku, but I don't really know). I have 75% of the memory of the DVR used up, so I'm hoping to watch horror movies only that I have taped onto my DVR, maybe drive it down to 55-60%. Not the most exciting collection (given I've had access to some of these movies, on the system, for literal years now), but I need to knock them down, so that's my plan.

Luckily I get TCM, so a lot of the movies are older and more attuned to my nature.

I did chicken nachos the other day. They turned out really good but I had a bunch of leftover chicken topping, beans, and nacho cheese and made myself some burritos out of them and froze them. Meals have been weird lately, but I'm finding I'm pretty good at throwing shit together to see what happens. So far everything has been edible.

Also, I'm on another 12-day stretch at work. My boss has been trying to hire people but no one is calling back when she reaches out to them. I keep saying we aren't paying enough to bring in employees, no one wants to do eight hours of work in a 5 hour period for minimum wage. Our board fucking sucks right now.

Right on, Jiggy! I'm looking forward to the challenge myself, since I've missed it the last couple of years. :)

You make food like I do, girl--make one thing, enjoy it, then re-invent it for leftovers..good stuff! :D

Good luck on the 12 day stretch---that suuuucks!! :( Hopefully, they will hire some good workers soon and take the pressure off of you, hon. Ridiculous that they think people (especially people with experience) will want to earn min wage for that kind of work.
