So guys, Jmac is having issue posting and I can't see what's wrong. He says it's like he's blocked, but it doesn't appear he was banned in the admin panel. Any insight?

Have you tried resetting his password? You can also check to see if his IP was somehow blocked/banned(might be variable, can be fixed on his end by resetting his modem or our end by unblocking/banning the IP address). He can also try a different browser to see if his browser took a shit for some reason(happens for no reason sometimes, can be fixed by clearing cookies/cache, but may need to reinstall).DancesWithWerewolves wrote:So guys, Jmac is having issue posting and I can't see what's wrong. I couldn't tell if his IP was blocked/banned, but he was suggesting it might. That's why I made this in the random chat so he can read suggestions, rather than in the admin board section.

Fair enough. I don't know what the setup is on here, but if you have access to a list of banned IP addresses, you could compare them to his last post(or he could send you his current IP address). Resetting his modem/router should change it, but how long it needs to be off to change the IP can vary. Usually five minutes should do it, but different ISP's handle that shit differently. You can also change it manually, but I'd save that as a last resort, since you have to manually input a static IP address. But yeah, I'd check another browser first, then the password thing, then the IP shit.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:I couldn't tell if his IP was blocked/banned, but he was suggesting it might. Unfortunately I couldn't find a list of banned ip's when I looked.
He's using his phone too, so I'm unfamiliar with that territory. I can't even find this HMF board on my phone

Yeah, no clue about phone shit. Maybe just reinstall the app? Try wifi(or a different wifi if already using wifi)?DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Unfortunately I couldn't find a list of banned ip's when I looked.

This is the error I keep getting- Your IP 107.11.165.105 has been blocked because it is blacklisted. For details please see http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=107.11.165.105.
