I'll be watching seven different versions of The Hound of the Baskervilles - 1914, 1929, 1937, 1939, 1959, 1972, and 1983. Three of these are rewatches (1939, 1959, and 1972). Should be a fun time.
Boy, what a repetitive day this has been. :p Even so, a decent amount of fun, especially seeing the silent versions (1914 and 1929) and the surprisingly decent 1937 German version.
For my thoughts on the horror films I've seen, please look here: https://jigsawshorrorcorner.wordpress.com/

Watched The Pool this morning. That croc was awful. But I still enjoyed the suspenseful parts.
Finally getting around to JBB's Haunt episode. New watch. I like JBB all scruffy!

Yeah, if I ever walk into somewhere that has a rows and rows of things that look like sheet covered ghosts/people... I'm walking right the fuck back out. I don't care if they are covered brooms. Nope. Not happenin'. *shakes head*

I want to like The Pool more, because the suspense and danger works, it was just all the stupid decisions one after another that just stacked up to high for me lol

Vampires seem to succeed in that. Near Dark, John Carpenter's Vampires, and now this.

They really do. Desert horror in general seems to almost always work. The above mentioned, Southbound, The Hitcher, From Dusk Till Dawn, Phantasm IV, etc.
