Hey all. Hope all are doing well. Doing okay here. Just trying to finish up Christmas shopping and getting ready for Turkey Day.

Gabby is in quarantine with COVID as of last Wednesday, but she is okay--not feeling well, but is overall okay. I'm not worried (yet), and that says a lot. Been busy, so I haven't had too much time to spend online recently, but been missing you guys, so wanted to check in.

That sucks. So far I know three people who had it, and one died. The other two acted like it was nothing, and refuse to acknowledge that there *is* a soft strain running around too.

That's pretty much me as well. Two people at my church had it--the husband died after three weeks in the hospital. His wife had mild/moderate gastro issues with some fever, but she was pretty much okay after a week.

Gabby has some cough, fatigue, and just overall feeling like shit, but she sounds okay to me. The AF has put her up in a nice hotel on base for 14 days because she shares a bathroom in her dorm, which makes sense, BUT, her boyfriend has NOT been but on quarantine despite the fact they were together up to the day she was put on quarantine. Make NO sense to me at all. I mean, as of two days ago, everyone in her shop has tested positive for the 'rona except two people. She has it. We know this. Yet he is out and about...and they wonder why it's out of control. *shakes head*

Joined a meeting and nobody was there for 2 minutes. Turns out they were holding a 2 minute silence. Not me. Music blasting and having fun.
