Nov. 24th, 2020
Closing in on less than two weeks before my company moves across town. My workload has opened up, so I'm going to be doing some packing today and tomorrow. The new owner implied heavily that the stuff they wanted boxed and ready to go before the big move were all stuff that my coworker handles on occasion (not his daily stuff), but he's done very little to pick at it. My shit is mostly day-to-day and easy to move. I'm going to still do what I can cause I can sense the owner's getting frustrated that not much has been done, and now my coworker is going on vacation tomorrow, so I'll be on my own until a couple days before the move.

Clarification: the owner is getting frustrated at the co-worker, not me; I'm just caught in the shrapnel.

Is the live good or bad for you, commute wise?

The commute's gonna eat up time, that's about it.

Re: Nov. 24th, 2020
"Bunch of savages in this town". My current shop was all tagged up when I came into work this morning.
Of course when the graffiti removal came by to do their work, the kids I've been suspecting were off to the side, looking like they were making fun of the work they had to do. I suspect them because I saw them tag a wall across the street a few weeks ago, but of course we can't do anything about it.

The move. Was the move going to make the commute better or worse.
We continue to do WFH and avoid going out and about.

Like I said, outside of it eating up time out of the day, it's not going to effect much. The location's definitely better, as it's not a shitty gang infested ratnest.

No gangs sounds like a win. Hopefully no assholes shitting on your doorstep either (pardon the pun)
