Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead (2007)

Holy fucking shit this movie rules. Fairly basic jewel heist plot starring Phillip Seymour-Hoffman and Ethan Hawke, last movie directed by the great Sidney Lumet (12 Angry Men, Dog Day Afternoon, Network). This is a really a movie you should go into blind but once you see where it’s going, just spirals and spirals into total darkness. Also lots of topless Marisa Tomei. I’m not sure why this movie was never a big deal, it really slipped through the cracks, but I can’t recommend it enough.
Not removing until John Elway is fired.

That was depressing as hell but as good as advertised.

Possessor. Really bad continuity error in the first two minutes. Not a good sign, but it'll be forgivable if the rest is good.

Nevermind. I guess it's supposed to be that way since it happens again later, it just doesn't make sense.

Don't care if it's not timely, I'm on a John Candy kick. The Great Outdoors.

Lol yup, basically an endless downward spiral with no relief. It’s so good! Amazing cast and the last movie from a legendary director and I’d never heard of it. Really think this is one more people need to see.

Agreed. I recommended it to both my brothers. The cast is phenomenal.

Watching Scrooged. Feels right somehow. Inspired by Simon Callow reading Dickens.

Been binging on King of the Hill. Got Hulu (took their 1.99/month black friday offer, so 1.99 per month for a year), so I'm revisiting this gem that I haven't watched in a long time. I don't even know how the show ends.
