So I can't speak for everyone, or anyone other than myself, but while discord could work (I use it with friends semi-often), most of the people I know from forums are somewhat old-fashioned and prefer forums. I'm a member of the barely-existing Fight Evil, and while we do have a discord, we just prefer forums. I definitely think the future is in things like social media and things like Discord, and forums are dying out bad, but I still prefer forums whenever possible.

That said, making a discord for movie-watching purposes for HMF might not be a bad idea. If I could ever join in during any of these, I might push for it.

I was thinking the prime thing could be used so we know everyone is on the exact same time of the movie. We could still comment here.

Saturdays are terrible for me. Its band practice day. All my shows are Saturday nights. I have a show every Saturday in August. Sundays are much better. Fridays are decent.

I'd love to join in on one of these, but my work schedule makes it impossible.

So I'm on EST, and I work Friday 5:00 AM - 12:30 PM. My next shift starts at Saturday night/Sunday morning, 12 midnight - 8:30 AM Sunday morning. Because of that, I can't really make anything on Saturday, as I'm asleep for a good half of the day, usually 2:00 PM through 10:10 PM.

So please don't take my absence personally.
