Have you heard their new song? They have not lost their mojo! I also liked the last thing they came out with, Closest Thing to Heaven, way back in 2004. But yeah, check out the new song if ya haven't. It just sounds like a classic.Tiggnutz wrote:I think I'm going to buy some Tears For Fears tickets later today. Jury got it right. A lot of my left friends are saying that too. What a lot of them feel is that, even with the jury getting the verdict right, they are not so sure the system would have worked the same for a black dude carrying around an AR15. His lawyer did an excellent job of explaining things not long ago. You cannot convict based on feelings. You have to have facts. And the facts were obviously in Kyle's favor. Kudos to the jury.Jason wrote:Kyle Rittenhouse NOT GUILTY in all charges. Woooooooo

Sometimes it pays to cooperate with the police, not run, be forthcoming about all that transpired. Do it not, it's not just the system, most people don't like you.

It was a media/social media induced case prosecuted by some sorry assed attorneys.

Re: November 19th 2021
Probably need to vent this somewhere. I've been feeling very financially stressed and recently had a major look-over of my credit card debt and it's really piled up over the years in spite of me paying above the minimum balance, and it really rocketed during the pandemic. A decent chunk was due to paying for marketing and shit for my book (getting people to professionally review the book, online advertisement, etc.), which of course is now just money down the toilet. Though the book performed better than expected, it's a far cry from getting back what I put into it.
Anywho, I'm mostly stressing out over all this because, well, it's a lot of debt, and I didn't really see it all added together until recently when I had someone look over everything. I'm getting help, which will involve killing most of the credit cards and getting them taken care of within 4 years, but I know my credit score is gonna tank hard because of it, due to going the route of settlement rather than continuing to pay the absurd amount of interest for the next 31 years.
Not all my cards, in fact none are even maxed out, but I kept a couple aside from being enrolled into this program.
It's all mostly added up due to the lack of proper raises going on in my field, the pandemic fucking over the economy, and the massive inflation since 2008 (yeah, most people only notice now, but it's been on a rapid incline since about then).
Not looking for advice, I'm just venting. I actually got advice which is what's going to help me, I just feel like such a fucking failure.
And on that note, I'm suited up in my Ghostbuster coveralls to go see the new movie in about an hour
