So...is this castle haunted? So far, nothing seems to hint at it.

The Stand really does deserve a stronger, harder adaption. I think as a Netflix original series it can do very well. Don't let King adapt the screenplay though, for some reason he really corns up the dialogue on his screenplays.

Where the hell is Ava? You'd think she'd at least pop in, even if she's not participating in the challenge.

Luckily I guess it was within a minute or two of the end of the first chapter. Let's see if part two does the same nonsense.

About 1-2 seconds before it froze I was thinking, "wow. Hasn't skipped at all for the last hour. Maybe I'm in the clear".

So annoying.
I'm on part 4, Netflix is streaming it seamlessly.
Lucky, I've been considering cancelling it because it's been glitchy as fuck lately.
Don't fall for his horse manure.
Don't touch that dial, motherfucker.

And I still think Jensen Ackles is my preferred Stu Redman. He's still age appropriate, and being from Texas adds the flavor.

So it's an Agatha Christie murder story wannabe that is mistitled.

I think the 3rd part is corniest too. It gets Soapy.

Even in the book, that's the section King admits he struggled with. Fair warning.

Started up House of Seven Corpses with John Carradine. Falling behind on new watches so I'm trying to get that count up.

I'm guessing this is one of those movies Joe Dante said John Carradine said yes to and shouldn't have...
