Yeah that probably is the best answer it's easier to get the A+ the day I first see a movie than say 30 years later. I was absolutely blown away by Hereditary but I watch it next year maybe it drops 2 grades who knows.
Oh, it will drop to a C once your beer googles wear off.

Witch in the window only had one decent tense moment, the rest was blah.

LOL.
I had to stop the one with the Olsen girl. Still not sure if it is worth going back to. I was bored to death watching her walk around getting scared over stupid crap.

I think so. It could get good at the end. I couldn't tell you. I checked out about 1/4 of the way in. Couldn't take it.

I've not had that many amazing first-time viewings as of yet - 2019 - Dopo la caduta di New York (1983) was pleasantly solid, Split (2016) was pretty damn good, and I really liked Delusion (1981) - but most of the others have ranged from bad to just above average (but not spectacular).

I'm about thirty minutes into The Shuttered Room (1967), and it has potential, if it keeps up what it does right, to reach my top five movies so far. Here's hoping.

The Day (2011)

Saw this once before, about four, maybe five years back. Really liked it then. About thirty minutes in, and still holding up okay.

Not amazing, but probably worth finishing.

Mandy doesn't release until 10/30, you sons of bitches. So these assclowns running stuidios and release dates don't know how the October Challenge fucks you with bootlegs as well, I see.

Other than the incest I couldn't tell ya jack about it, so it's definitely 50/50.

Down three movies - suppose to be at 51 at the end of today, but just hit 48. Will work over the next week to make it up so I'm not too worried over the final week about it.

On the upside, saw The Day (2011) for the second time, and I still find it a very solid and enjoyable film.

It blows my mind when people actively utilize only legal sources to watch films (Shudder, Netflix, Amazon Prime, what-have-you). Something like 85% of all horror films I watch are from streaming sites like Putlocker, x8 movies, or whatever sites haven't been taken down for copyright infringement yet.

Shudder put up the picture yesterday or so and it says "coming soon".
