Fuck me, that was an excellent vampire movie. What the fuck? Why is this never mentioned with the greats? It's absolutely in league with The Lost Boys, Fright Night, From Dusk Till Dawn and such. If not better...

And I would've probably kissed Susan, tbh.
Probably not mentioned much because it's a TV miniseries. It's a great tv miniseries/movie, among the great ones like It, The Stand, Gargoyles and Duel, imo.

Yeah, but IT gets a nod. Both are unique as hell. And I'd say they're equally good, tbh. Peeps can't appreciate a movie with a slow burn, I reckon.

Yeah, for some reason people keep thinking It (1990) was a real movie lol. I'm guessing because of easy access to renting it compared to the others.

Halloween H20. I got the blu ray box set with all ten movies. Including part 6, with both theatrical and producer's cuts. The transfer to blu ray has been excellent up until H20. While not terrible, it's fairly grainy.

I first saw that during the last challenge, sort of interested why a mid-1990's movie got consistently high praise here. It was indeed a lot of fun.

Other than shitty last minute CGI, pretty decent prequel, and did their homework.

Pretty much this. I was fully expecting to hate it going in. The transformations were mostly god awful. Nice little end-credits tie-in.

It's an utter shame the studio murdered the movie by shooting with practical FX, then slapping on CGI over all of it before release.
