Probably not the same stock one Jason was complaining about earlier, but I recognized it.
You never know. Probably was. :p

Stock farts are the worst in comedies.

This has been very horror lite, very heavy on drama. It's countable, but definitely doesn't live up to the name "The Devil's Backbone"

I can't believe zombie_cran watched After Midnight and didn't throw in a brief review in this thread.

That's because he forgot about it as soon as it was over. :P

Devil's Backbone was a letdown, but still well above average. Del Toro really likes to downplay the supernatural horror that he puts into his dramas (think the inverse of Stanley Kubrick's version of the Shining - "Hey yeah, the hotel's haunted but...let's focus 90% of the attention on Jack growing apart from his family, especially his son, but dance around the fact that Jack could be gay and Wendy is his beard. Oh, and have subplots about the Hotel Manager not able to get it up, Dick Holloran is stealing supplies from the kitchen, and how people liked to play darts."). Also, it felt so much longer than it actually was.

Boner denied. Victim of modernity. Gotta download stuff, then install stuff, then reset stuff, then load stuff, then reinstall stuff. Would've been 30 minutes into the movie by now. Currently downloading something. No idea what or why. Currently says 15 minutes remain. Two minutes ago it said 14 minutes remain.

Pretty counter-productive, this modernity stuff.

Whoops. 30 minutes left now. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll only have 7 weeks left to download it.

Fuck this.

Seriously, fuck netflix and new technology. Gotta delete and reinstall the shit like every month, or some nonsense. Reestablish the internet connection, download software updates, reinstall programs... THEN hope not only that your internet is ace enough to not fuck you over, but you're still at the mercy of the quality of the stream from netflix, itself. How do people put up with this shit?

While still downloading, it is now saying download cannot be performed... WHILE STILL DOWNLOADING...

Lol. Don’t know what’s worse, Foo ragging on me for a lame LLC joke that was poorly constructed or Jason ragging on Netflix because he can’t use the internet.

I might genuinely make this challenge this year. Must be the first time in fucking years I've actually A) watched horror for several days a week and B) Enjoyed newer horror films
