The Wayans Brothers was a good ass show, and we didn't even get a final episode!

I give Hereditary a Brent Rambo out of 10.

If you watched that GIF 10 times, it would make the grade.

Had a much better audience second time around with the new Halloween. I'm giving it an A- grade. I've also been thinking more about Hereditary, and I'm slipping it to an A-. The fact that when I think back to it, and what I can recall only amounts to maybe 40 minutes tops, that's a problem.

I will add though this Dave guy was supposedly a "scene stealer" and "laugh riot" according to early reviews and I disagree completely with them, I found him and his girl Vicky likable. It's funny. As mentioned before, I'm so glad the movie's not a horror comedy like those early reviews had me scared of, but disappointed by how much I felt they lied about that lol.

Since there was 23 or so minutes cut out, maybe there was a lot more humor with him and they saw an early cut or something. I dunno.

Even though Halloween II (1981) has a dumb script and the reveal pretty much ruined the franchise after, I still prefer it to the new one. New one gets 3rd place from me.

Checking out Mandy's Director's other movie, Beyond The Black Rainbow.

The visuals are just as gorgeous as they are in Mandy. But I doubt this will give me a blood covered Nic Cage with bright wide eyes and a manic smile.

That's really weird to me that anyone would call him a scene stealer. He was nothing to me but meat waiting to be dead. The kid was a scene stealer. not the boyfriend.

I put the new one at second with part II falling to third. It may be just because it's new and exciting Time will tell.

I would definitely put James Jude Courtney above Dick Warlock as Michael though. And I really prefer Carpenter's music in this one compared to II's score, which I never really liked his sound setup for, even though I own the score, lol.

Panos Cosmatos is the son of George "First Blood Part II and Tombsone" Cosmatos!

From what I understand about George, so far the son is far more talented, since there are plenty of rumors that Sly did the real directing for FBII and Kurt Russell actually directed Tombstone (according to Kurt himself).

This one's pretty far out there. Only recommended for those seeking super artsy stuff. It almost feels like a 109 minute synthwave music video that speaks on occasion.

drugs might help. The story is pretty...loose. Thus far horror is only really been justified by some disturbing (though not graphic) visuals.

Digging this ending song. I also think that was Venom just a little earlier, too, on the boombox. The fat dude from Freddy Vs. Jason was in this, and his death was WAY better than in FvsJ.
