Why do you take pride in being dumb?
I enjoy clowning your overreactions and weirdness.
You're not capable of thinking that far ahead, bud.
We both know that I am, and you're just overreacting and shitposting about me to get a rise out of me and it isn't working.
I'm not trying to get a rise out of you. I'm trying to help you see the light. You come across as utterly stupid so often and it derails our arguments. The sniping is cool with me. It's when you can't mentally process the flow of things that is actually frustrating. I've never encountered anybody who needed things spelled out to a more specific degree than you, and it isn't intentional unless you just have zero gift for subtlety as a humorist.
Still no worky.
Be upset or don't, I couldn't care less.

It's not about making you mad. I never need to see you mad again after what an embarrassment and crybaby you were yesterday. That was legendary.
Damn it. You got a rise out of me with that one.

Just kidding.
You've actually convinced yourself I'm messing around, dear god. Unfortunately not. I think you've proven to be a stupid person. If that's comforting, great! If it upsets you, great! It makes no difference, Jason.
Keep trying for that rise, sir. You gonna edit that post, too? lol.
Now you're just making me feel bad for you. The desperate denial is a sad sight to behold.

Hold a book.

And read it. And get better.

It's an interesting dynamic because when Foo puts the brakes on an argument and redirects (usually through a straw man) I know it is intentional. It's like Republican politicians who deny global warming, it's agenda-driving disingenuity but not an indictment on their intellect. He has a proven impressive mental acuity there but likes to simplify everything. Man knows how to frame a discussion. You don't have a choice, anything that isn't dramatically simplified is way over your head. You're more comfortable in the gutter slinging around catch-phrases like "commies", "socialist", "libs" and the like. Well like a person who can't stop smoking or eating junk food, I know it's not healthy but I enjoy the gutter too, it's why we make such a charming pair at times.

Obviously, race is the elephant in the room and we all understand that. Unless it is talked about constantly, it’s not going to get better. ‘Oh, they’re talking about that again. They pulled the race card again. Why do we have to talk about that?’ Well, because it’s uncomfortable. There has to be an uncomfortable element in the discourse for anything to change, whether it’s the LGBT movement, or women’s suffrage, race, it doesn’t matter. People have to be made to feel uncomfortable, and especially white people, because we’re comfortable. We still have no clue what being born white means. And if you read some of the recent literature, you realize there really is no such thing as whiteness. We kind of made it up. That’s not my original thought, but it’s true.

It’s hard to sit down and decide that, yes, it’s like you’re at the 50-meter mark in a 100-meter dash. You’ve got that kind of a lead, yes, because you were born white. You have advantage that are systemically, culturally, psychologically rare. And they’ve been built up and cemented for hundreds of years. But many people can’t look at it that way, because it’s too difficult. It can’t be something that’s on their plate on a daily basis. People want to hold their position, people want their status quo, people don’t want to give that up. Until its given up, it’s not going to be fixed.

How do you fix that treat white people like shit for 200 years then we will be square. It's ridiculous and an excuse for people who can't get their shit together. Stop looking at race and look at character and everything will work out great for everyone.

racism and bigotry should be called out as anti-american. want people to stop feeling defensive of their race, religion, sexual orientation etc? make them feel like it's not something that needs to be defended.

Pop was right. People have to start feeling uncomfortable about it and then address why that’s the case.

If you don't treat everyone equally than someone is being treated unfairly and you get nowhere.

Treating them equal only works if they are equal. You’re advocating preserving. The pro-white status quo currentlybin pkace.

Your last statement does speak the truth though equality is not the goal of the left.

Simple analogy, arguably oversimplified:

I run a candy store. I say you can all buy 5 things and everything costs a dollar. You have 1 dollar. Zimbabwe has 25 dollars you both have the same rights technically, but actually you can’t get access to the same level of sweets that Zombs can. It’s discriminating against you on the basis of the inherent inequality in the system regardless of the equal rules in place. Assumed herein is that you cannot get more lovey through hard work. Child labor laws or something.

Literally and by definition false.

Both sides want equality. They disagree how much state intervention in free market economics is required to achieve true equality.

that is not what i was saying. calling supremacists and racists and bigots out as anti-american would probably make them uncomfortable. standing with minorities against bigotry and injustice would make those minorities feel more included. they wouldn't need to be so defensive, because you would be right there with them. that's what needs to happen, if we want people to not feel defensive of their race or whatever.

but it's not going to happen, because that would make people uncomfortable. :P

That “support” has to come with social redress or else it’s emoticist nonsense.

agreed. if the very act of bigotry and discrimination (and not just racism toward minorities) was held as anti-american by the majority, then there would be social redress. but as i'm one person, without a lot of resource. i have to start small.
