The Ritual probably holds best new film title for me right now. Really tense. Liked it a lot.

Err, no. Apparently it's a DVD release in a VHS sized VHS packaging with a fake VHS tape that carries the DVDs.

Confusing. I guess it's cool. :p

Sweden is a great set for a horror film in isolation. Disappointed they didn’t speak Swedish though. But they threw in a few words that sounded right.

Very apt for the nostalgia factor to be sure.

I haven't bought season 1 of Stranger Things yet. Definitely a show worth owning (so far). Might just get the VHS thing.

It was a Target exclusive one, so that's where you're going to see it for the correct $25 price. Amazon's already selling it for $40, and goes higher from there.

Just bought mine from Target. Ah yeah.

Been home for a while, but Alli's had Crystal Lake Memories going so I haven't been able to watch anything.

Unless I watch something on Youtube...

I guess I'll have to go to Target and get the VHS before it sells out?... Will it sell out?

Today's surprise favorite was Bates Motel (1987). That movie was all over the place (so much corny drama), but I loved the hell out of it.

I just bought it on their website. Paid extra for shipping, but meh. 33 bucks is still better than the higher prices elsewhere.

Never saw it, but wasn't that a pilot for an attempted show?

I'll probably swing by Target tomorrow at some point and pick it up. Should still be there, hopefully.

I happened to swing in this afternoon when I noticed it. I was in a hurry though and didn't think about picking it up. It was a full section, with like 30-40 copies. I'll be bummed if it's sold out, but at least people are still buying DVDs, even ones that are exclusive to netflix.
