Now watching WNUF Halloween Special.

They are doing an amazing job replicating 1987 TV, holy shit.

Solid 4/5 for Raw. Didn't need to rewind to hear the musix. Plays in the end. Almost beats Burnt Offerings.

They are nailing this recorded VHS quality far better than any of the VHS movie segments. It feels so damn real. Just waiting for the plot to kick in (like a Geraldo expose that's "live TV" in a killer's house or something)

I'm hoping for some Tales From The Crypt: Television Terror vibe...

Okay. The retro commercials are pretty amazing...but they're getting intrusive. I know it's supposed to be a recording of a broadcast, but hopefully when "Frank" goes in the house the commercials slow down.

Is it a coincidence that on the day I watch a French horror film, I happened to spot my French teacher leaving Target when I went to buy Stranger Things? :p

Yeah, these commercials are interruptive. As amusing as they are, they are distracting from the plot of being inside this house.

They are totally ripping on The Warrens too, lol.

I want to give WNUF Halloween Special more than a B for it's effort, but those commercials just got too distracting and too frequent. Really dug it though.

Also made fun of Westboro.

Actually, the only 3 that really stood out for music so far is Devil's Candy, Raw and What We Become.
