Guess Get Out is new for a few of us. Good to see it getting watches by everyone.

I thought it might have been... Michael Jai White in a little action cameo role in Toxie II. Most amusing.

Really like Toxic Avenger. But I think Toxic Avenger II is a real favourite. I don't know if this is the case in your US versions, but the UK version is no subtitles. So the Japanese is all basically free from any subtitles making the Tokyo scenes that much more amusing. Because there's a lto of legitimately funny bits, but I'm sensing they are going to pass people by. And they are genuinely in Tokyo for a few bits, including places I've been many times. Quite awesome, as it was obviously when I was in Tokyo (83-90, this one is in 89)

Just saw I'd written Jai Michael... No idea why. Literally wrote that on autopilot it seems... Fucking weird.

It's amazing to see Yasuoka Rikiya with his usual booming Japanese voice, only to have him clearly have to mouth the lines in English with a different voiceover. Should've just let him speak Japanese. Still, his henchmen get their comeuppance alright. :D

Not seen 3-4, but 2 was pretty far into the comedy territory, much tamer than the first movie which at least had the shock-gore going for it. I think I still counted 2 at the time though, but barely counted.

Luckily it’s the longer version with legit gore. So I’ll put it in there. It’s better than Hostel and that always counts. :P

I'd warn you not to get too hyped up, or it might end up disappointing you.

Just finished Doomed to Consume (2006).

Really low budget zombie flick. Some of the worst dialogue I've heard in a while. Do not recommend.

I got a pretty good feel of it from the trailer. Seems kind of in the vein of Amityville Horror.

Indeed, only, in my opinion, better.

Definitely. The original Amityville is barely an okay movie. Might rewatch for the challenge though.

I give the original Amityville a solid 4/5.

"My Dad's not racist. He would've voted Obama a 3rd term if he could have."

Kind of expected these kind of implications in the movie. It sure is off to a roaring stop. Fucking politics in movies. Not even ten minutes in.

Not even five minutes later and the movie stages a police harassment scene. Lol. I thought I put in a horror flick. Didn't realize it was a political movie. Should change the name of the movie to "Look at How Oppressed Black People Is".
