Why I grew to love the Donald and forgive his haters

It will get heated. Can't take it, don't open the forum.

I thought it was the right thing to do, considering the state of butthurt whiney asses these days on both the left and the right. The outrage is ridiculous. They are there to play a football game. He was taking focus off of the shit going down these days. Who says the players weren't allowed to watch or pray or salute the flag while there were not out there?

Horse shit. The Steelers are the most political team in the league. Mike Tomlinson himself was an affirmative action hire.

It is so fucked up that liberals are acting like there is any controversy when you simply show respect and stand for the anthem, just like all those clowns have done for years.

No one was offended by standing before.

no one should be offended by standing now. this shouldn't be like that stupid article that jason linked to. (i think it was jason?) standing for the anthem is not racist or supremacist or any other stupid shit. it's only about respect. it shouldn't be about being offended for other people standing.

i really wish that we could move on from this crap. he didn't stand. people would stop watching or not. it would have been a nothing burger, if not for trump making a big deal because he needs to distract from actual important things and to pull the attention onto himself.

Ahem......Marshawn Lynch used to sit during it all the time. No outrage from people who think like you until now. We are just gonna have to disagree and move on.

if you were watching, you probably knew he was sitting it out without trump telling you? if you weren't watching already, it doesn't make a difference really. *shrug*

nor should he be. iconoclasm is not healthy. it only breaks down a culture and a society.

that said pushing against free speech and free expression also breaks down a culture and society. it's just a different approach to that end.

ugh. the only reason the accusation of racism is coming up (and getting major exposure) is because of who donated the books. this is stupid and it needs to stop. :P

Actually, I do remember that and lib sites reported about it. Even WP reported about it. http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fede ... 6a483587f6

But you are right about the selective outrage. Both sides do it. Again, no one gave a fuck about Marshawn Lynch sitting during the anthem. Conservatives blame Obama and were outraged at his speeches being divisive, but it's cool when Trump does it with his speeches. Cause he is pretty tough for a draft dodger. Lol!

can we also stop pretending that trump is not crying about stupid shit, to distract from important things himself.
