First time viewing of Hobgoblins

This is so 80s cheesy and so so bad

Has to be amongst the worst movies ever made

It's impossible to like Laurie in this one. She's too much of a drama queen.

Given now that there's a theory that Laurie was supposed to be the one killing and Michael is just in her head, I'm not sure what to think about H2 now. If that was RZ's intention, I definitely see why people hate the movie.

As much as I love The Raft in Creepshow 2, it always bugged me for the kids' motive to go out to that raft in the first place. I mean, driving 50 miles to go swim out to a raft? I don't even remember anything clear in the original short story.

I was questioning Better Watch Out today. The doorknobs drove me insane. They were all head level. The house looked like a fancy house but still...head level? I walked over to my doors just to check. Yeah, crotch to belly button level. In the movie it made them seem like midgets. Is that a new construction thing? WTF? If I had doorknobs that were head level or so I would permanently have 2 black eyes.

I know he saw it on the field trip, but still not getting why it was significant for them to get to it. They could've just hung out on the beach as their goal, but the raft was their goal and it's a head scratcher for me lol.

Still my favorite Creepshow segment, very closely followed by Something To Tide You Over.
