I don't like that Ceasar apparently got a speech therapist between movies (they show in flashback) so he doesn't do that 30's style fast talk with a lisp anymore. The love of horror is still quite there, good amounts of blood use, but not as much as the Summer Camp Massacre one, but this one's more focused on haunted house movies anyway than slashers.

Damn, the stripper the Ex Priest got engaged to is pretty damn cute.

The humor is luckily driven by either the super low budget, or is subtle jokes horror fans would get, rather than blunt slapstick sex race and drug jokes over and over like Scary Movie.

The only real music score this film has...keeps ripping off Aerosmith's Dream On...but never finishes the damn piano riff, lol. It's annoying.

That's not my favorite SOV horror flick, but I thought it was pretty fun when I saw it.

Definitely one of those horror flicks that might appeal to myself, havok, maybe Slaughter, and a few others.

I don't know why it's been this long, but I'm watching this movie for the first time in about ten freaking years.

Winner winner, chicken dinner! I have found my best new watch and that is the Korean gem The Wailing. If they do an American remake (and they should), they will need to cut it down by 30-45 minutes, as it's a bit long in the tooth for sure. We all like character development and shiz, but you gotta keep the ball rolling a little better. While it had it's fair share of slow-burn/filler, it highly engaged me on it's grab bag approach to different sub-genres of virus/zombies, ghosts, demons, serial killer, animals attack, folk lore etc. It's got some good twists and turns, and ones I didn't see from a mile away, it took a while to go "Wait a minute, if that's the case then why... etc." Would recommend, it's no I Saw The Devil, or even Train to Busan (for entertainment) as far as recent foreign horror goes, but it's up there. Good stuff.
