curse is my second favorite of the series. seed and cult are kind of terrible.
(cult is still watchable though)

If they do an American remake (and they should), they will need to cut it down by 30-45 minutes, as it's a bit long in the tooth for sure. We all like character development and shiz, but you gotta keep the ball rolling a little better. While it had it's fair share of slow-burn/filler, it highly engaged me on it's grab bag approach to different sub-genres of virus/zombies, ghosts, demons, serial killer, animals attack, folk lore etc. It's got some good twists and turns, and ones I didn't see from a mile away, it took a while to go "Wait a minute, if that's the case then why... etc." Would recommend, it's no I Saw The Devil, or even Train to Busan (for entertainment) as far as recent foreign horror goes, but it's up there. Good stuff.
Think I saw this up on Netflix. Didn't watch Train to Buscan yet either.

I gotta watch The Wailing. Reign hasn't failed me yet. Unlike some of you ungrateful bastards.
Oh, and Train to Busan. Seb highly recommended that one.

I also remember Luna recommending The Wailing. What the fuck did we do to scare all the hot chicks from the board? Dream, Ava, Luna, etc.

it is a little weird to have just one character for the whole thing (so far), particularly for a f13 film. but they're doing it pretty well. keeping the interest and such.

It's unavoidable these days.
For this year's Halloween party, I'm going as Jason and I'm not bringing any damn machete with me.

Bringing a pitch fork? Or a sleeping bag full of naked chicks?

seemed a pretty decent job with the makeup effects for the face reveal too. though it was dark, so maybe that obscured the bad stuff.

Nothing. True Jason uses his surroundings, whatever is available. Like the Slasher Jackie Chan.
