My Shelly shirt arrived, yesterday. Came with some neat goodies, too. A small Elvira sticker, a White Zombie movie card, a "Fright-Rags membership card" in the style of Blockbuster, which was really neat. And a blue raspberry Warheads candy. :p

Yeah, they like to give out goodies like that. Shipping says it should be here tomorrow for mine.

Shelly the 13th is actually printed on the inside of the shirt where the tag would be.

Córki dancingu (2015), or The Lure, for those of you who don't know Polish, was pretty decent as a musical, with catchy numbers and all, but I didn't much care for it as a horror flick.

Pshh. Like you speak Polish.

You think you're sooo smart, don't you, nerd? You think you're sooo cool, Brewster. But I got news for you: You aren't. Boom.

the lure did kind of hold back on the gore and stuff. but i think it still counts as a fantasy horror musical.

5 bambole per la luna d'agosto (1970), or 5 Dolls for an August Moon, for those of you who don't speak Italian, was a mostly nonsensical mess of a movie. Mario Bava has certainly done far better than that.

When a movie boasts a decent body count, but almost every single death is off-screen, then it strikes me as more or less wasted potential. And the plot itself - so convoluted, it's hard to keep coherent thought while watching the film.

Davvero parlo italiano. Mi dispiace di non dirti prima, amico.

A także polska, na pewno.

About 50 minutes into Southbound (2015). It dragged for the first ten minutes or so, but picked up nicely.

Not my problem. Though I was curious why "dancingu" became "lure."

I just chalked it up to those wacky East Europeans. :P

this acting is heinous. I might make a special Worst Ensemble just for this.
