Southbound had some decent sequences, but overall a mixed bag.

Three movies today, and none of them did much for me. Here's hoping tomorrow's better.

"You ever do it with another girl?"

*fails to show anything more than feet dangling under covers and giggling*

Not my problem. Though I was curious why "dancingu" became "lure."

I just chalked it up to those wacky East Europeans. :P
The subtitle translations were pretty weird in Raw in some portions. I was borderline fluent in French nearly 15 years ago, but I still have a little left in the tank, and some of the subtitles didn't seem to connect with what they were actually saying. :p

Makes me want to Rosetta Stone these mother fuckers with all the great foreign flicks I own and be like "No! You see this shit?! That is not the proper translation! Je voudrais une Coca, sil vous plais."

it's likely meant to match as close as they can, with the pace of the film and scene. at least i hope that's why there is a difference between the subtitles and what's actually being said. :P

Feels like this movie is 80 minutes of reenactments from a show like Sightings or some shit.

So far, I only heard Betsy, voicing the Witch.

Maybe the money went into producing these old timey-country tunes for the sound track. Too bad they're dull.

As amatuer as this mediocre tv reenactment is, Betsy's voice of the witch is pretty scene chewing, and I wish it was put to better use.

Okay, I was expecting credits after John Bell's funeral...but that was actually a good surprise. I give it that.

I just realized I didn't add Lycanthrope with Robert Carradine on my tally. Holy crap.

Watching Curse of the Wolf.

I dig that they stole the soundbite of the werewolf howl in An American Werewolf In London...but not digging that this looks like it was shot on nanny cams from the 90's.

Actually, out of the five movies you recommend to me, I really liked two of them and enjoyed the other.

The Devil's Candy has thus far been the most intense movie I've seen this month, a real heart-pounder, and Pin has perhaps been one of my favorite watches out of everything I've seen this month.

So give yourself a bit more credit. :P
