It does occur to me that it would probably take some Reign of Terror-like event to prevent the power vacuum in these transitions from being filled by opportunists. Impossibility of implementation is an inherent flaw that has to be acknowledged too, if we're going to view the world honestly and pragmatically and not just fantasizing about what should be.

It's funny all the politicians preaching socialism have made fortunes off of capitalism. It's sad the amount of people who can't see it. Someone with more houses than most people have cars telling you the danger of wealth.

What they are preaching is social democracy (ex: Nordic Europe) which is a form of capitalism so there aren't any real inconsistencies.

Socialism is nothing but a buzzword in mainstream discourse. Take a deep dive into Jiggy's views if you want to see what socialism actually is. There ain't a single mainstream politician advocating for that.
