Does a woman lose the right to defend herself against a large rapist or against a home invasion because a nutcase uses a weapon of self defense incorrectly? Would you take all the hammers from carpenters if hammers were used incorrectly?

Yes it would be better. Each time something bad happens you find the cause and try to make that more difficult.

There were armed security at the latest shooting. Ft Hood is a military base. Yup......lots of people shot. So arming everyone is not the answer.

in the interest of facts, at fort hood, three people died. (four including the shooter) and he was an "army specialist" as wiki describes him. not at all the same thing as the school shootings.

and no, i don't think arming all school faculty is the answer either.

There was an armed coward who hid until the event was over. At the Ft Hood shooting, the guy chose the time and place where they could not bring guns.

Notice these shootings happen at places with no guns, not rodeos, NRA conventions, and gun shows.

unless you're talking (more likely) about the '09 shooting and not the most recent. sorry. still, he was an army major.. so, again, not comparable to a school shooter.

How does everyone feel about people saying they wish these kids that are protesting to be run over or shot? Or that people are saying these kids are actors for Dems and the deep state? Is this not disgusting? Or am I the only one that feels for these kids? I am seeing a lot of hate.

It is awful. First the kids have to live with shitty liberal parents who treat them like a prop to show their friends how progressive they are, and then they have to go through a school shooting event, and then get exploited by their parents and the media after. Those kids need love not hate.
