This Ashley gal is a dish.

And this main guy is dressed in green flannel and a backwards red cap. I never watched the cartoon, but I'm reminded of that kid on that Recess show.

Don't really know what to expect from this one. Should be interesting.
How was that? Looks like it could be de-lish smut.
There was some nudity, and quite often, the two main girls were in their bras and panties, but honestly, it felt extraordinarily tame for an early 70's French film. Case in point: Despite what I was thinking from the beginning, there was literally zero physical lesbianism in the film. Truth be told, sort of blew my mind.

Smut was obviously not what they were going for when they made this. Much more a dark coming-of-age story with a moderately shocking ending.
Well fuck that.

Finished re-watching the Midnight Meat Train for the first time in something like five, six years I'd think.

Aside from some hideous CGI gore, it was a mostly solid movie.

Started Argentina gore film Plaga zombie (1997). Hopefully it works out to my liking.

Well that chainsaw sound effect was a waste...

Next Found Footage flick: Hell House LLC 2

I kinda remember the first, but don't feel like squeezing it in.

I really liked the first one, and I meant to fit the second one in before October, but I wasn't able to. I'll probably re-watch the first one and then watch the second in the first week of November.

Well, 2 shows some footage from the first, a loose recap, so I'm good not revisiting it, lol.

I do like the fake news show at the beginning of this though.

The acting seems a little hammier, but it feels charming instead of annoying.

Yeah, if you liked the first one, you won't like this one that much.

So far, simply because of this douchebag character Brock Davies, I think I'm liking this more. Reminds me of my favorite Tales From The Crypt episode (though no where as good, but reminding me of it's still a good thing).

Sorry for spoilers because this is annoying: Brock is killed off and we're stuck with the rest.

The movie should've been with Brock in the lead. Everyone else blows.

It just reminded me of Grave Encounters 2. Just the exact same thing, with a different ending.

I can see the similarities, particularly with the characters we're stuck with, but still better than GE2.

Does it have any more of a plot than this one did? Because while I appreciate the hard work that they put into the gore, an hour of fighting zombies constantly doesn't do it for me.
