That was a very good episode, btw.

It's just a shame about Martin's writing. Since they caught up, the dialogue hasn't been as sharp and the political intrigue not as intriguing, everything just feels more Hollywood than it used to. Will have to see what Benioff & Weiss do next to get a better idea of who they are as show runners.

I tend to agree but I also think I like it this way now. It’s tiring to have everything be so fucking complex and spread, and to lose such great characters. Now I’m invested and wants good payout. Not just shock for shock sake.

I think you mean pedo. At the start, Dani was 13 in the books(roughly 19 at this point in the show), Jorah was 44(roughly 50 now). He wanted her since they first met, so yeah, total pedo.

The ages of everyone on the show were increased a little bit to avoid the creep factor. When first introduced, Bran was 7, Arya 9, Sansa 11, Jon 14, Rickon 3, Robb 14, Joffery 12, Margaery 14, Tommen 7, Podrick 10, etc. It's been roughly six years between the events of the first book and the last. So yeah, keep that in mind when you see what these characters are doing on the show.
