I guess both are kick-ass and hard to kill. Maybe she becomes a boss/arch rival type. But the fact that she's going to be nearly 30 years older seems a problem. Because in 1989 she's already an established spy with a long history.

maybe she helps him to start into the business or something. like a mentor. as long as it's not her actually working to train him. that could be cool. reign would lose his shit, if she was the one who taught him to fight and kill. :P

It isn't inconceivable. But I'd have to wait to see it in action before getting excited.

Look here Mr. Buzzkill, not take the best franchise to come around in ages and burn it to the fucking ground.

The Void

I thought it was pretty bitchin'. Gave me a bit of a Baskin vibe. Nice to have an original idea and practical creature effects.

A new movie with practical creature FX? No shit?

I think you'd dig it. A bit of a slow burn, but homages to Assault on Precinct 13 and the Thing. And I dunno, gave me a pinch of a Hellraiser vibe, in that this is weird and different and I don't know what I'm getting into.

I liked the movie overall but the ending confused me.

You don't like Fulci's The Beyond?

Haven't seen it. I've had very little exposure to Italian horror.

Annabelle 2

I left the theater feeling completely indifferent about this movie. Though better than the first, it's basically a series of jump scares. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. Very forgettable.

You would dig The Beyond. I see it for free on some of my Roku apps.

I'm not a Fulci fan really, but even I liked The Beyond.

The Dark Tower

Slaughter was right. Not a good film. Notfor someone who wants to get what's going on anyway.

The Beyond always has a special poignant memory for me. My Dad came home one day from the store and gave me a gift, and goes "This is something I thought you'd like". I look at it, go to our DVDs, get another and go "You mean this one? Look familiar?". He's flabbergasted. "We got The Beyond like a year ago, this 7 Doors of Death is the same thing just repackaged". The WTF on his face was priceless. But he was educated on foreign titles getting different names overseas, and never made the same mistake again, because he was sure to check with me. :)

 Cool of your dad to support your horror fixation. My parents tolerated mine. Damned if they'd support it.

It was damn cool. Still have his 7 doors of death, in it's original packaging. :P
