I had a pitching version of one of those where it would bounce the ball back to you after you throw it.

High school was all cage work as far as batting goes. Sometimes simulated games at practice. Defense was what I loved the most. Only cause I was great at it. Horrible batter. Wasn't until the year after I stopped playing high school ball that I was wearing the wrong glasses my whole life. Had astigmatism, never had the lenses for them.

Back in the day I used to LOVE hanging out at batting cages. There used to be one by my high school and I used to walk home (over a mile) just so I could stop by there for an hour or so. I would hit until I got
blisters on my hands, and yes, I was using batting gloves. I loved to hit! Even now, every now and then I will go to a batting cage, although my stamina is not what it used to be anymore.
