Definitely not an "honest mistake" to kick the shit out of someone who is not on the ground not moving lol.

I mean it doesn't look like he's still on fire anywhere when they start kicking him, so idk how a cop can explain this nonsense.

Honest mistake. Thought he was criminal. He wasn't. If I were the innocent man, I would not cry about it. The reason I am on fire is because of the criminal. And we're throwing a bitch fit about the police mistakenly assuming he was the criminal? Hello, people? Honest mistake. I'd say if the police wanted to make it up to me, give the criminal a few more kicks than they gave me. I would be happy with that. The criminal nearly murdered me.

and the cops nearly finished the job?

i don't think you would be so quick to just let it go, if you got the shit kicked out of you, by a group of public defenders. when you were doing nothing wrong at all.

unless the car he was climbing out of, matched the color and model of the car they had been pursuing, then there is no excuse at all. and even then, it feels pretty flimsy to me. :P

I would be very quick to let it go. I mean, if the police department was like "Our fault bruh, here's 100 grand" I wouldn't turn 'em down. But I sure as hell wouldn't go looking for it. AGAIN: The reason I am ON FIRE is because of the criminal, who the cops mistakenly thought I was. There is a zero percent chance that I target the police for brutality. Not who I am. The harder they kicked me, the happier I'd be. Because I know they're kicking actual scumbag criminals that hard. if anything I'd be like "Yo, you dorks can definitely kick harder than that". :p

Too many fairies looking for a handout.
I'm on fucking fire and nearly burned to death because of a criminal, possibly have permanent burns to my body, so I'm gonna target the police for giving me a couple of weak ass kicks thinking I was the criminal. The men of today's society need to grow a sack. Instead they're cutting them off and pretending to be girls.

Why did they need to kick the shit out of him, criminal or not? He wasn't going anywhere.

The idea is that police don't treat citizens like animals. That should be acceptable.

It's bad enough that they fucked up and got the wrong guy. Incompetent and engage in brutality. Nice.

now it's looking for a hand out? :P the cops scuffed their shoes on his face. he should have known better than to cause an obstruction where they were kicking. let's continue the ridiculousness.

Because he started a fire and put countless lives in danger, possibly scarred a man for life by setting him on fire. He deserves a bullet in the head.

What does it say when a thread is created about a criminal causing a wreck, nearly killing a man and scarring him for life, and we're feigning fake outrage over the police who mistakenly identified a victim as the criminal, lightly and I mean LIGHTLY kicking the dude a couple times that my grandma would scoff at?

Not saying the guy is looking for a handout, but that's what people do, isn't it? And if the guy wanted a handout, is there even the slightest chance he won't get a huge pay out?

The only ridiculousness is creating a thread about chaos caused by a criminal nearly killing a man, and aiming hate at the police for mistakenly identifying the victim as the criminal.

What you consider tough justice is not the foundation of how society expects its police to operate, ya know. Most of us want police who don't make colossal fucks up and don't beat the shit out of citizens. Fuck these cops.

Because if it were me, I recognize that the police mistakenly thought I was the maniac. There is a zero percent chance I am upset at them. Zero percent.

Why are you so quick to jump on the police and not the criminal who caused all this shit?

some people are unscrupulous. that doesn't really have any bearing on this convo though.

i'm glad that we have police to defend us, and hold criminals accountable. when they're doing their job right, they're priceless. but these cops in particular? they absoluely deserve hate aimed at them. :P

As if both the criminal and police can't be held accountable.

Good for you for being okay with incompetent cops though. I'm not. You perform a job for society, do it fucking well.

No one is denying they fucked up. The only hate they get from me is "Is that how hard you wussies are gonna kick the criminal?".

I mean, look at the title of this thread. "Cops attack victim of fiery crash". What is to be assumed there, Mr.CNN?

Cops can be awful at their jobs as long as they're trying and they go about their business like violent psychopaths.
