Just finished an Australian slasher called Cut, from 2000. I saw this one before (possibly on Chiller, I'm not sure), but I don't remember it being this bad. I'll probably give it something like a 3.5/10 once I actually write the review.

And Torso's pretty solid.

Did I legitimately recommend Cut? I don't remember this, but I deeply apologize.

My old IMDb rating on Cut was a 6/10, which is still a below average rating from me. I moved it down to a 3/10, and since the guy I do this pod-cast with is Australian, I'll probably insult his country tonight because of it. :P

I didn't know The Devil's Candy was Australian. I actually think I gave that one a really high rating, and in fact, pretty sure I'd nominate it as a top ten horror movie from the 2010's (not that I've ever made a list of those).

Rogue was okay. I'll be honest, though, and admit that I much preferred Lake Placid, which I find an incredibly fun movie (that cast is on point).

lake placid is such a different film from rogue though. :P but i agree, the cast was great. specifically oliver platt.

so you liked devil's candy. you might like the loved ones, by the same director.

Saw the Loved One's once. According to my IMDb rating, I gave it an 8/10, so must have been pretty good. Can't say I clearly remember it, though, so must have been in October. :P

That really shouldn't be hard to cobble together. I've not really seen that many horror films post-2009. And I think most of the ones I really liked would make many other lists. I'll have to do it sometime during or after tonight's show, but I can post it here once I'm finished. I'll even try to rank it. :P

It Follows and Insidious are two that would probably be at the top for me.

I enjoy It Follows. Something about Insidious just didn't do it for me, though.
