Who are you having an imaginary argument with now, Fooskey?
I thought we were sharing how we felt while under the influence of drugs and driving? If it makes me feel good in that moment, I figure it is all good.
True stories only pls. You're too nice for coke and PCP.

I accidentally ate some marijuana cookie once. And I drove. And I do not recommend.

I don't recommend eating marijuana cookies either. Edibles taste awful.

I'm not gonna lie, the mental image of Foo driving around and slowly coming to the realization that he's high as fuck is pretty amazing.
You did put it out there.

I'm just imagining the Fonzie's smile slowly dropping, eyes slowly slanting and then the blind squirrel gives him his sunglasses to cover his stony red eyes.

An employee brought it to work for me. I thought it was a legit cookie and set it aside. Then when we got a minute, I started to eat it. It tasted weird and I asked him the flavor, which is when he got really upset. He thought I knew what it was and was going to save it, while I thought he was asking me to taste it.
It did not hit me for like an hour. It was very scary driving.

I'm curious how an employee can have such little self-awareness that they wouldn't think of that as completely inappropriate. Jesus lol

Setting aside all of your stupid "I did this while High" or "I would pretend I did this whilst on PCP" stories:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2722956/
Actual science.
I'd say that they make the most coherent point they can when they point out that marijuana users can compensate for a lot of their failings where drunk people cannot, and that there is a much lower rate of accidents where marijuana is the cause, rather than alcohol, despite high usage.
Obvious caveats abound, such as the average age/driving prowess of the usual marijuana users. Tends to be more prevalent among younger drivers and less experienced drivers, which means it can be hard to decipher drivers who failed because they were stoned, or stoned drivers who would fail no matter what happened.
Still, interesting study.

I don't blame you for being scared Fooskey. There's no way of knowing the dosage of THC in edibles. It doesn't hit you in small waves like smoking it does, more unpredictable. I would genuinely be afraid to drive in that instance too.

I disagree. I think everyone should be required to submit an "I did this while high" story and whoever is the funniest can have the next hit of this internet J.

I'll join you in the four corner group. Never touched anything anywhere. The most "high" I got was from being inside a coffee shop in Amsterdam a number of times. Don't think that counts at all, and I didn't perceive it having any effect on me.
Then again, I also only drink annually, and have only really been drunk twice in my life. So I'm a pretty shit judge for what it means personally. Hence me preferring scientific studies and control groups to "I felt totally cool" or "I felt so shit" type anecdotal evidence.

I have done absolutely nothing exciting in the realm of drugs.
I mean I look like I'm on a mix of all kinds when I'm in Amsterdam, apparently, since I'm the only one who gets lots of offers of cocaine and heroin, but it's wasted on me...

Yeah I would probably profile you as someone who is a casual lover of all drugs if I saw you on the streets in Europe. Can't knock the dealers for that one.

yeah, "contact high" never worked for me either.
i don't think i've ever been drunk to the point of changing how i feel or act. (but then everyone thinks that.
) but i don't drink often either, so yeah.

I couldn't either. Leather jacket, Metallica T-shirt, ponytail and goatee, baggy trousers. I was hardly walking around looking like an undercover cop. More like Val Kilmer in Heat.

You'll only get a contact high if you stuff yourself into a tiny car with 3-4 other people in it and smoke blunts. The thick smoke and cramped space will get you.
Other than that, it's not really a thing.

He was arrested 22 times...
Marijuana is good for you, though. He smokes marijuana to clear his head so he can take better care of his child.
Omg I'd love to hear your moronic views on marijuana. You genuinely know nothing about it. Keep going.
I don't really have views on marijuana. Not something I'm interested in, not something I've ever done, also not something I know much about. I would say driving on marijuana would be equally ill-advised as driving while drinking.
I would say you're wrong and it isn't even remotely close. Unfortunately, that's from personal experience. I'm not proud.
It is more dangerous to drive buzzed on alcohol than driving as high on weed as you can possibly be.
Newsflash! The worst thing I have done as a driver has been stoned as fucked and rolling the wheels up the curb, and everyone laughing. On route to buying more weed, btw. No one on this earth can tell me they are great behind the wheel while stoned.
Do you not think it would have been worse if you were drunk? I'm not saying anyone is great behind the wheel while stoned but it's much closer to sober driving than it is drunk driving. When I was drunk behind the wheel, I felt like I couldn't control anything I was doing. When I'm stoned? Only noticeable difference is being a little overly cautious, driving maybe 5 mph slower than normal.
I'm glad we got a weed story out of you though.
Dude, I got alot of weed stories, Seb kills them.
